Our Church
*Praise the Lord for the visitors that He continues to send our way. Pray that we will continue to welcome those that visit with us, and ask God to continue to bring people to our church.
*Pray for the many people that have been visited by FAITH teams and realize their need for a church family. Pray for those that made decisions and need to take the next step of baptism, as well as for those that are unsure of their salvation and need clarity. Consider ways that you can encourage these individuals.
*Pray for the Courageous Bible Study for Men that begins Sunday. Ask God to convict men of the need to attend and address the leadership they provide their families.
*Ask God to continue to give us as a church and you as an individual opportunities to show that "We CARE" and enable us to effectively minister to our community.
*Continue to pray for GriefShare and Celebrate Recovery. Ask God to allow us to impact many hurting people as a result of these ministries.
*Continue to pray for our Wednesday night Children’s Ministry. Pray for Vickie Newton as she leads this ministry, and for each of the teachers and workers. Ask God to give more of our members a burden for reaching children for Christ. Pray that we will be able to reach families in our community through our efforts.
*Pray for our Youth Ministry and for the students that made the commitment to purity at the DiscipleNow. As the Lord to raise up this generation to glorify Him and make Him known. Begin to pray for the students that will attend the Spring Break Trip to Panama City Beach.
*Pray by name for the lost or unchurched people that you know personally. Pray that you will be sensitive to their spiritual needs.
*Pray for families in our church that are under attack by Satan.
*Pray for additional nursery workers.
Missions
*Continue to pray for the work in Chile among the Mapuche. A group of 12 from Center Ridge First Baptist Church leaves tomorrow to begin their trip. Pray for their safe travel and for the Lord to use them as they minister in several villages.
*Pray for our North American partners at Journey Church in New Albany, Indiana. Pray for Pastor Jeff Jackson and his family as they lead this ministry.
*Pray for the Carey Baptist Association, to which we belong, as a time of transition and self-examination begin.
